Day 1- CONGRATULATIONS ON TAKING THE 1ST STEP TO A HEALTHIER YOU!

We have compiled a basic outline and some helpful tips for your juice cleanse program. We hope this series of emails will answer any questions you might have about what to do before, during and after your cleanse.

WELCOME TO YOUR FRESH JUICE CLEANSE!

TO PICK UP YOUR JUICE: Our Juice Cleanses are available for pickup Monday thru Friday at 9:00 am at our downtown location (2710 1st Ave N next to Walkers Grill). Try to pick up your cleanse and start prior to 11:00 am due to the limited shelf life of our juices.

Remember to refrigerate your cleanse products as quickly as possible!

PRIOR TO STARTING YOUR CLEANSE:

For best results, we recommend including these healthy habits at least 24-48 hours prior to your start date:

Prepare your body for the journey ahead. Taking time to pre-cleanse can help ease the detoxification symptoms over the first few days and even set you up for a more effective cleanse overall.

Make an extra effort to hydrate throughout the day with filtered non-carbonated water (at least two liters per day). Drinking water helps set the stage for a smoother cleanse because it allows your cells to eliminate toxins more easily and decreases tiredness while also reducing food cravings.

Eliminating the following substances from your diet ahead of time will make it easier once your cleanse begins! If completely giving up something here feels too drastic, at least try staying away from all processed foods.

AVOID THESE:

●  Alcohol and Nicotine
●  Meat and Seafood
●  Dairy and Eggs
●  Sugar and Processed Foods
●  Wheat and Refined Carbohydrates (bread, white rice, pasta, etc.)
●  Caffeinated and Diuretic Drinks (pro-tip: If you’re currently a regular coffee drinker, switch to freshly brewed Yerba Mate, Green Tea, or try our Tropeaka wellness teas)

BUT ADD THESE:

●  Steamed Vegetables
●  Salads
●  Fruits
●  Smoothies (try adding green vegetables like kale or spinach to your smoothies)
●  Fresh Juices
●  Gluten-free grains like quinoa, amaranth, and millet
●  Raw Nuts and Seeds like almonds, pistachios and pumpkin seeds
This may sound like a lot but your body will thank you for it in the end!

Instead of thinking about what you can’t have, Keep in mind all of the amazing cleanse-friendly foods you can have.
